A Gustavian console table attributed to Pehr Ljung, Stockholm, late 18th century
The table’s apron features a beaded ornamentation framing a porphyry-imitated background adorned with gilded vine leaf motifs. It is supported by four fluted, tapering legs with pearl detailing and decorative braided ribbon patterns at the upper sections. The top is made of Carrara marble with a profiled edge.
