A pair of Gustavian armchairs attributed to Ephraim Ståhl. Stockholm circa 1810

A importan pair of armchairs in parcel gilt and bronzed wood.

Each armchair with a scrolled back and arms rests, decorated with carved laurels, the side rails with griffin heads and palmette frieze, fluted front legs and tapered with leaf-tip carvings, the back legs in sabre shape and ending in lion’s paw feet.
