For eight lights in fire-gilt bronze.
The frame of the chandelier, its ring, branches,drip-pans, candle-sockets, and its ornaments is wrought throughout in fire-gilt bronze, and hung with cut glass disposed in garlands, cascades, and pendant clusters. The central stem is adorned with cut-glass globes and prisms, arranged in garlands.
The excellence that runs throughout the whole chandelier the gilding laid on in several coats, and the chasing executed with the utmost care bears witness that the chandelier was, when first made some two hundred and thirty years since, commissioned by some person of no mean estate.
