An important Rococo mirror made in Stockholm in the 1750s.
The cut French-inspired decoration is of the highest quality and most likely made by one of the French craftsmen who were contracted to decorated the interiors of the new Stockholm castle. The shape and proportions are distinct and executed with a sharpness in all details, and together with the double cartouche in the crown and the cobalt blue cut edge glass makes this mirror something very special.
