A pair of Gustavian stools by Erik Öhrmark, circa 1790

A pair of Gustavian grey painted stools. Each with a rectangular seat and surmounted with a berried ribbon rim. The corners decorated with carved sunflowers and ending on fluted legs.

The carved sunflower is a more unusual decoration that can be seen in the furniture commissioned by Gustav III for the decoration of the Haga Pavilion.
