was born in 1740 into a family of master carpenters and became a master himself in 1768 in Stockholm where he ran the business until his death in 1795. He was a very skilled designer and a carpenter with a great sense of detail, who could easily follow the style transitions from rococo time onwards. During the Gustavian period, he quickly picked up influences from the great star of the time, Georg Haupt. Neijber’s work is of the highest quality and he was one of the foremost carpenters of his time.
